IPCC 2009 : Update

Most of the project is near to complete. The final stage challenges is to complete the digital interactive comic. Digital Interactive Comic is something new for most comic artist as they may not have the exposure for this new technology and how far they can explore the possibility.

All project need to be completed and submitted to MDeC by 31 March.

Only a few selected one which they need to do extra work to be published by the publisher will hand in weeks later.

At this moment 3 project expected to be published by local publisher by this year.

All remaining project got offer from publisher to be published and waiting for the project owner to agreed their work to be published.

Final Mentoring Session for IPCC 2009

The final IPCC 2009: Digital Interactive Comic session was a good session. All the grant recipient attended the session. Based on the feedback and comment from the mentor all the grant recipient have put in the effort to complete their project.

IPCC Digital Comic 2009: Final Mentoring Session

MSC Malaysia IPCC Digital Comic Competition Final Mentoring Session will be held on;

Date: 11 March 2010 (Thursday)

Time: 10:00am till 1:00pm

Venue: MSC CIC (Plaza Sentral)

All Grant winner will be present their work progress which will consist of;

1. Complete Comic Production (in colour)

2. Digital Comic Progress

Great work to the grant recipient which have completed earlier.

Digital Comic Mentoring Session 2

IPCC Digital Comic Mentoring Session

Most of the mentor was around during this session accept En Haji Che Mazlan.

Feedback from the mentors the second mentoring seems 'ok' only for most of the grant recipient where most of the work need much amendment to look great for the market. The mentor will monitor Mid of Feb to make sure most of the 'required to do work' is completed to ensure everyone is following back to the time line. The final mentoring session will happen in March and all grant recipient should be on track.

MDeC is organizing an IP Workshop especially for the IPCC Winners 2009. IPCC Digital Comic grant recipient are cordially invited and advised to participate in the event. Please find below the details of the workshop.
